The Harris Family

I like a good "grunge" location. Found a new one and had the perfect people to try it out on -- the Harris family. It was a little chilly, but they were great sports and went to multiple spots with me. The girls were so dog gone cute... almost (emphasis on almost) makes me want to have a little girl of my own!

Amy and Alan are awesome. You might remember them from family pictures I took a few weeks ago. Like many couples I know, since having kids, Alan and Amy haven't had their pictures taken together -- just the two of them. They were GREAT. In fact, there was no prompting to this session. It was a night away from the kids and they took advantage... lots of kissing and lovin' and just doing what the two of them did back when they were falling in love. They didn't mind the chilly weather and neither did I -- how could I?!? I had two fantastic models! Cheers to you guys and 16 years of marriage!

Ryann's Pics for Daddy

This past summer, I was able to take pictures for the Bordens before JD left to go overseas for his last tour of duty in the military. He's now there and won't be home for the holidays. So... I get all teary-eyed when I think of how excited he'll be to open these and see how beautiful his little girl is and how much she's growing. I really love what I do and it's times like these I'm so thankful that God's given me a talent that makes others happy. Hang in there Ashley--many are sending prayers of thanks your way for the sacrifices you and Ryann are making everyday and of course, to JD for your service. I'm going to have to quit typing because the tears are running... you give so much to so many.

Nikki + Jason

These two had me rolling... they were really a riot. Jason giggled every time I had him get his nose even close to Nikki's face. He laughed even harder when I asked them to kiss (although he was more than willing to do both.) We laughed because the dogs wouldn't sit still... because the ladder he was climbing on was well... a little under-maintenanced. We were just in for an evening of fun. I knew from the minute I met these two that they were going to be awesome. They have so much energy and are so fun-loving. They are meant for each other. I've only been with them for a couple hours, but would bet my camera on it that their love will last long into old age. Jason will be the older gentleman you see taking his elderly wife out to dinner opening her car door and helping Nikki out. They are just that type. I can't wait to hang out with you guys again!!!     

Anna + Jeff

Look at Anna. Gorgeous girl. Can't wait to see her in a wedding dress... there are just some girls you know are going to sparkle. She's one. Jeff you'll look great in a tux too--don't want to leave you hangin'. Their family owns many of the beautiful historic buildings in downtown Hannibal, so I had the absolute pleasure of switching things up and shooting their engagement pictures over there. They were really so much fun and I ended up with so many awesome pictures... I can't wait for the wedding!!!
