Angela + Nathan

Angela and Nathan were fantastic! They took every advantage to take some cool pictures--even outside in the chilly autumn weather. They also took a little time to have some fun, stopping by one of their favorite spots for a drink before heading to the reception. I can't tell you how much I love it when a couple really makes the day their own... whether it be something special at the ceremony, a bride wearing her favorite heals, or just swinging by the local pub... great touch! Cheers to the Keppners!!!

"Night Light." is here!

I've been inspired beyond my traditional boundaries and am "embracing the grain" -- of photos, of course. Yes, these all were taken at night. No flash... all natur-al... just the way I like it... raw, romantic and duo-toned. It's art. Something to hang on your wall and have company ask... "Is that you??? Or is that from Pier 1???" I would like to say it's originally, but I must give credit to Jodified (your a genius!)

I love it. It totally reaches back to that original love--no kids. Remember when it was just the two of you? (I know it's hard... mine's just a year and a half and I have a hard time myself!) This is that--the two of you. Something that's just yours. Or maybe you don't have kids and have all kids of puppy love to share... this is it.

Patience

Patience is beautiful. Her flawless skin and perfect hair... a photographer's dream! We had to battle 15 mph wind gusts, but we managed and I'm so excited we did!

I Heart These.

I had soooo many great pictures at Kristen and Zach's wedding--the church was gorgeous and had beautiful lighting, but I had to skip posting most of those because I love their location shots even more! I am absolutely swooning over the pictures with the brick. Perhaps I'm just a total nerd and love architecture and the chance to incorporate some of that into my photos makes me go bananas, but I just have to share...

Until We Meet Again...

I had the opportunity to meet Ryan this past summer at a wedding--she was one of my "princesses" (aka... flower girls.) She was adorable then and oh so adorable now. Clad in her sweater dress and boots, I was wishing I had a girl of my own to dress up! Her counterpart, Jackson, was just as handsome, and had the sweetest disposition to go along smiling at just about anything I said... little kids make me feel so funny ;)

Check out this beauty! Natalee could have been a dress up doll! Mom came prepared with all sorts of fun clothes. She didn't mind either (you've done this a time or two haven't you Mom?) Pretty serious, but no worries... that soberness is gorgeous!
