Little Miss Smiles :)

Every time Miss D. comes to see me, she never underperforms! This little gal has got smiles for everyone in her back pocket. I love all of our appointments and am always so excited to edit her portraits :)

Formal... for the most part ;)

Most know that I like to be a little more "free"... breaking boundaries, letting the creativity flow. However, I do understand the need for formal portraits and was hired to create exactly that with the Shih family. However, you know I can't leave without having a little fun! So with that, we took off the suits and dress clothes and went outside to play in the snow--throwing snowballs, jumping and just being silly! Of course those are my favorites, but am pretty excited to include the others on here too... not too shabby of a day going from one extreme to the other ;)

Wait for it... wait for it...

I don't want to say this too terribly loud, but... I'm nearly caught up with editing!!! AHHH!!! I have a to do list that's through the roof, but I'm finishing orders and these last couple sessions so I can do nothing but work on stuff for the business this weekend.  I'm so excited!!! 


Miss Finleigh just happens to be one of the sessions I just finished.  How adorable is she??? I'm lovin' this new fringe blanket (thank you, thank you Beth! If you need to know where to find one friends, just ask!)

An Evening to Remember...

Allison and Matt were married just before Christmas. It was my last wedding for a little bit which is bittersweet. With baby #2 due just 7 weeks away, I decided to take some time off in case of any unexpected events ;)  I'll still be shooting portraits up until I have her, but no more weddings until May. I think I'm going to be going through withdraw. Luckily I still have some albums on my to do list, along with orders to fulfill and then there's always portrait sessions. And more than anything, hopefully some time in there for some creative planning! 


Allison and Matt--it was really great to have you as my last wedding of the year. It was fun to stretch myself a little bit and do Night Light wedding portraits!  I hope you enjoy your peek! I can't wait to show them all to you!

Jenna + John

I'm not so much into making a list of resolutions for the New Year; seems a bit like setting yourself up for failure.  However, I love lists and goals--little ways of getting myself pumped up about creative ideas and getting excited when I get something done.  One of those is to wrap up 2010!  Included in that is Jenna and John's wedding.  Here's a couple of her favorites along with mine ;)  Enjoy!
