Janine

Janine was definitely a trooper!  She took nearly all of her senior portraits in CHILLY weather--yes, it's definitely possible (and well worth it--check out her peek...)

Caleys!

Not too long ago I blogged about the Marolds--who put in the electricity down at c. yellow. I have another special client today--the Caleys.  Andy Caley with Caley Construction orchestrated and constructed the renovation of our building that now houses c. yellow photography.  He and his men are amazing and I cannot say enough awesome things about what they did.  He brought his beautiful family in for some portraits last week--check out these cuties!

5 Beautiful Ladies.

I love these ladies!  I'm privileged enough to call them friends and hope all siblings love each other as much as these ladies do.  Beautiful!  :)

Katie & Blake

Outside appointments are getting fewer and further between :(   I'm looking forward to some snow pictures though!  Until then, Katie and Blake grinned and withstood some chilly weather for some fun engagement portraits!

My Wisconsin Visitor.

Meet Mr. H! -- all the way from Wisconsin.  Mom and brother were in town visiting family and gave me an impromptu phone call to see if I had any last minute spots.  The only time I had was during nap time, and since I have a little one, I know the treachery of this situation, but Mr. H. did a FANTASTIC job. I'm not even going to show the cutest ones of him in his diapers. I love one year olds... soooo adorable!

Baby Finleigh

Meet Finleigh.  She's beautiful just like her MaMa! Kristina does my hair (Imagine--call her, she's great and back at work next week!) and she and hubby, Isaac, are part of our Bible Study group so they're near and dear.

Finleigh was not thrilled to have her photos taken.  She was keeping the beauty all for herself ;) However, we did manage to grab a couple of her sleeping!  I think she was just annoyed we kept interrupting her dreaming... in any case, meet the newest member of our "family"--

My Friend, Mr. L.

Mr. L. is one of the most charismatic little kids I've met in a while.  For every joke I threw at him, he had something to come back with--not sassy, just clever.  And those eyes... man, those eyes... I'm really excited about Mom and him coming to see me tomorrow!!!

Christmas Photos!

As you can imagine, I have Christmas pictures coming out my ears!  Well... maybe not my ears, but I get enough packages delivered to my front door every day that I'm making even the neighbors jealous ;)   Little do they know that very, very few of those are actually for me!

The Mitchells were taking advantage while their family was in town not too long ago.  I won't spoil their family Christmas photo, but I will show you a couple that I absolutely adore!!!

Meet Jordan--definitely one of my best dressed guys! He came with some great ideas too--lovin' the Raider Pride!

One more for the day...

Every once in a while I have a contest or promotion (at 500 fans, well have another!)  My most recent was to find cool new locations.  Ben won with the gas station below.  He won a free session and an 8x10 portrait--an $80 value!  Congrats!

The Goodwin family!

Nicole wanted so badly for her little guy to smile during the session, but... you know how that goes as a Mom... he wasn't cranky one bit, but he just didn't give us those trademark smiles until the end after we stripped him down to his onesie.  Not exactly what Mom was thinking as far as clothing goes, but so cute still!  I couldn't resist the last picture--something about that cracks me up!

Langstons.

Poor little B... it was quite chilly the day we shot these.  And turns out, Mom said he was quite hungry too!  You'd never know it from the results though...

The Marolds

There are some people in life you just don't get to thank enough.  Marold Electric did all the wiring in the studio and our rental apartment above downtown.  When they (and all the construction crew) were working there, it was the dead of winter--way below freezing.  I was told sodas weren't even safe in the building; they'd freeze way before even 1/2 of it was drank!  So, when Jackie Marold asked me to take her family's portraits, I jumped at the chance! They are/were (and I'm sure will always be) fantastic.  This family has love oozing from their ears. I cannot thank them enough for their work and their beautiful spirits--God is moving in you and it's so undeniable!

Old Posts - Keppners

I'm inspired.  Productive day of moving furniture, cleaning and reorganizing!  And with that, I have more than a dozen folders sitting on my desk top just waiting to go onto the blog so people can use them on facebook!  So, between editing and getting my own Christmas cards going, I'm going to mark this off the list too.  First up, the Keppners from family day--
