Jenna + John.

I love creative people, and John + Jenna are exactly that.  She does hair in Hannibal; John makes furniture (http://www.johnmichaeloriginals.com). Nearly all their stuff is made of reclaimed materials... how cool is that?!?  So, with that said, they were up for anything. Here's just 3 of my favorites ~

The Greenawalts.

The Greenawalts are hitched!  Brittany and Adam, I've saving the best to show you at the studio, but here's a peek until everything comes in!

The Spragues.

My brain is going a million miles an hour this morning... the list of things to get done today is endless!  :)  I smile because... well, that's always a double edged sword.  I'd much rather say that than the opposite and so for the busyness I'm thankful. Here's another peek that's overdue... the Spragues!

Shhhh... Sleepin' Baby!

Little Ms. L. just happened to arrive while I was at a wedding.  I was planning on catching Mom and Dad during labor at home and then after she made her first appearance, getting weighed, footprints... all the good stuff (of course minus the stuff rated above G silly!) But, since I didn't get in on the action, Mom brought her down to the studio for her first shoot where she slept the ENTIRE time, only fussing a bit whenever we tried to move her ;)  You're beautiful Ms. L! Welcome to the world!

When a Mom isn't looking...

Don't you just feel totally lame some days??? Please tell me someone else does too... yes? Maybe?  Today I was walking over to my sister's (just down the alley) with Brecken.  We've barely crossed the street and he's already asking me to hold him--What??? Why??? You're a big boy. You can't walk today?  After some questioning, I come to realize that his shoes are too small.  Ahhh!  Talk about feeling horrible!  Poor kid doesn't want to walk because his shoes are squeezing his toes.  Okay, so that's it. Story of my day. So... I've been on the hunt today for new shoes all the while thinking... I gotta get these sessions edited!  I'm so behind!  Then, I just breathe.  So I must apologize Amy and Jamie.  This really doesn't have much to do with you other than to tell you that I'm real.  You should have had these days ago, but life has just gotten in the way.  I'm sorry.  Enjoy!

Growing Like a Weed

I've really become to appreciate my little ones I get to see every 3 months.  It's amazing to watch them grow and change and start their own little personalities.  I can't believe it's already been 3 months since the first time I saw Ms. D.  I think time is racing faster and faster every day.  To Daddy's dismay, I think she's going to have red hair ;)  I'm lovin' it!

1 + 1 is 2!

If you ask Ms. M how old she is, she'll hold up each pointer finger on each hand and say 2!  We had lots of fun together on her birthday.  She entertained Mommy and me--literally.  She was getting air and landing right on her behind on the hard cement over and over again.  No matter how much we tried to convince her otherwise, she really thought that was a great idea.  Happy 2nd Birthday Ms. M!

Round 2: Alanna + Drew

Poor Alanna had one of every bride's nightmares actually come true--her photographer cancelled on her!  I don't know the exact reason, but as a photographer... wow... I go into panic mode if I'm 30 second late, let alone cancel on someone just weeks before the wedding!  Ahhh!  I'll say no more than that since I don't know the circumstances, but God was totally moving in this situation.  I just happened to have her date available since Jessica and Will got married a couple weeks early (remember the blog about early deployment for him?)  I've never had a bride move up the date and then have another move in last minute, like I said--total God moment there. But in any case, we got her and Drew taken care of!  Take a peek from their big day!
