Johnny + Lucy... with the cool boots.

Lucy is beautiful. Let me just start there. She is going to be a GORGEOUS bride. I loved, loved, loved shooting her (Johnny you're quite dapper too... I'm going to rave on your other half for now though.) Serious, smiling, coy--she has it all, including killer boots!  She even braved the frigid weather with an adorable dress. I just love this couple!

Kaden giggles.

Little Kaden wasn't super hip on having to have his picture taken, but Aunt Lisa came to the rescue! She was jumping and doing all sorts of silly moves behind me. I couldn't pay too much attention to what she was doing since I was trying to capture all the smiles, but she not only had Kaden rolling, but even the older girls as well. Thanks for being such a good sport Aunt Lisa -- your silliness created some great smiles!

The Anders

Little Payton had SOOO much energy during the shoot. Really though... after coming off a 3 hour nap, could you blame him?!? He gave Mommy so much love during the shoot -- lots and lots of hugs. Why don't kids do that to dads??? At the Craig household, we're constantly reminding Brecken that Mommy is breakable (vs. Daddy being indestructible ;)  but it seems no matter what, I'm the one who's getting malled all the time. Ugh. Gotta love it. But in any case, Mom took it well and managed to smile for the most of it ;)

Williams down! 5 to go!

I see the light at the end of the tunnel! I haven't been caught up in literally 8 months. I am so blessed and am in no way shape or form complaining... I'm very thankful for all of you out there reading my blog, looking at my pictures and even better -- all of you getting your pictures taken! I absolutely LOVE my job and without you, c. yellow wouldn't be moving forward at the rate I am. But... I really, really like Christmas. I really don't like winter (I despise being cold) and find Christmas one of the few gems in winter. Thus, I like to have some time for baking cookies, wrapping pretty presents, shopping, listening to Christmas music and spending some time with family... just soaking this time of the year up. I'm down to five folders sitting on my desktop -- a very, very good number. A number I hope to tackle by the end of this weekend. I feel like I just keep posting, posting, posting -- but... I want everyone to get a peek!

Little Jackson just recently joined the Williams family making them 4. Little Reagan is adjusting and was a good sport during the session. I think my favorite part was watching her "read" to Jackson. He sat and watched her so intently... it's such a warm feeling... siblings are the best -- no matter what the age.

Laina, the ballerina.

Little Laina didn't mind wearing the tutu at all. In fact, she loved watching the baby in the mirror ;) No smiles, but no tears at least!

Landon braves the dark.

The Deeges were one of the first families to get a peek at c. yellow's future studio. However, they were looking at it in it's soon former glory... the strong odor of incense, the bare white walls and the dark, stripped down apartment upstairs. We shot most everything on a white backdrop downstairs, but ventured up to use the exposed brick in a few shots. I think we scared poor Landon. It was cold, dark and dusty in the apartment. I really can't blame him though. I'm not very fond of seeing it in that shape either. But... I guess it always gets worse before it gets better!

And PS... I absolutely LOVE the pic of all of them laying on the floor with Blaine getting Landon in the nose... poor Landon was a sweetheart and of course doesn't deserve anything of the likes, but I'm just in love with the family dynamics in that one!

Let me sleep!

Poor little Ella was just about to take a snooze when I showed up to take her pictures. We let her continue on her way and snapped some beautiful pictures while she was sleeping. Take a peek...
